Developed custom IDOC for master and financial data distribution. Developed the associated User Exit coding and / or wrapper functions using ABAP to populate new segments and associated tables.

Developed a suite of utilities in ABAP/4 to simplify the modeling process, increase quality, and reduce time required to design and develop the ALE customer distribution models which numbered in excess of 60,000 entries.

These utilities reduced modeling time by over 90%, resulting in enormous cost savings and virtually eliminating modeling errors.

Responsibilities/Deliverables:

My Role in Transportation Management

Created configurable Table for transferring Sales order, Purchase Order, Stock Transport Order and Delivery documents to Transportation Management package, using SAP BADI's these documents transfer during save/update event.

Based on Sales order, Purchase Order, Stock Transport Order and Delivery different logistic units gets generated.

Each document is configured to have different logistic unit in order to apply different business case for logistic order creation.

Different document of logistic unit submitted to optimizer components to create logistic order

Built logic to create consolidation when destination customer zone around logical zone.

Built rate table and calculation sheet for freight charge calculation

Configured and created lots of compatibility and incompatibilities in order to create feasible logistic order.

Configured Logistic order to create delivery and shipment with planned load start, load end, departure date and arrival date.

Created business components to launch tendering (EDI-204) and receiving response (EDI-990).

Configured logistic order to create freight settlement document, shipment cost and service PO.

I have created transportation lane, vehicle master, loading resource, transportation allocation, transportation allocation and transportation zone.

My Role in Sales and Distribution (SD):

Business Applications: Customizing settings and business configuration in SD with OTC process configuration, order processing, and logistics transportation configuration.

Cross applications: like RFC, ALE/IDOC, BAPI, etc. Experience in ALE solutions, customized settings for ALE and programming/customizing interfaces.

Created a Control Configuration document (CCD) for Visteon from the inputs received from all the plants.

Worked with the Technical team to map the data to the information structure from the legacy system (JDE).

Transferred data from legacy system to SAP using LSMW.

Created custom information structures, maintained parameters as per characteristics and key figures.
