As a Treasury Technical Lead Consultant, involved along with IBM in implementing Treasury Module (Cash

Management, Deal Management and Financial Gateway), which includes Custom Interfaces, Enhancements, Queries,

and Reports for Entergy.

Designed and Developed Custom Cash Sweep Interfaces for Entergy’s Cash Operations department for transferring funds from consolidated bank accounts to the company’s general funds accounts as Bank Transfers and to be shown on Treasury Bank Transfers Page:

Designed and Developed Payment Approval Security enhancement for displaying, selection and approval of the payments in Settlement Manager, Select Settlements and Select Approvals components based on the roles defined for the users in Cash Operations, Deal Management, Treasury and PP Departments and payments selected by a set of users are notified to the users who can approve them by email.

As a Lead PeopleSoft Consultant along with KPMG,

played an important role in re-implementing Infoed Create Proposals/Awards Interface and by creating Modify Awards Interface in PeopleSoft Grants for MEEI Research Department.

Implemented PS Grants Project level security. Fixed complex data related issues. Made enhancements to Contracts Billing Options.

Technically and Functionally helped MEEI Grants team in implementing PeopleSoft business process and integrations in the following PeopleSoft Modules (Grants, Project Costing, Contracts, Billing, Requisitions, Purchasing, AP, AR, and GL) and provided production support.

Responsibilities:

Re-implemented Infoed Create Proposals/Awards Interface using PeopleSoft Component Interface, File Layout and Application Engine Architecture for creating proposals and Awards based on the input file from Infoed Database. Wrote validations using people-code to validate the data coming from Infoed database file before creating Proposals in PS Grants.

Infoed Interfaces Create Proposals/Awards and Modify Awards are automated and scheduled to run as nightly processes.

Did Research and Analysis for implementing PS Grants Project level security and wrote custom people-code to implement the same as soon as a proposal is submitted and an Award is created for the associated project by adding the new PI’s to PI Tree and the new Project’s to the Project Tree dynamically at the department levels.

Updated Billing Options page in Contracts to default to the billing data coming from the Infoed Interface using custom people-code.

Created a custom New Award Email notification program for notifying the MEEI Research department stake holders appropriately, whenever a Proposal is submitted and a new Award/Contract is created.

Fixed complex data related issues in PS Grants and Project Costing module by doing very thorough research using PS-Query and SQLs.

Wrote custom application engine programs to fulfill the gaps created by the delivered PeopleSoft processes like PC_PRICING etc.

Did fit-gap analysis between PeopleSoft Proposals and 3rd party vendor (who captures proposals from grants.gov and research.gov).

Developed functional and technical specifications.

Finished development of the interface using Application Engine, CIs, and People-Code.

Responsibilities:

At present, I am involved in customizing Vendor component with custom pages and custom fields.

Developed a new custom workflow (includes email and work-lists) to notify CL, Vendor, Contracts and AP teams, whenever a new vendor is created by CL. Created a vendor log file whenever vendor makes changes to vendor information and submits and saves it, a log file is emailed to CL, Vendor, Contracts and AP teams and notified using another custom workflow developed (includes email and work-lists).

As a PeopleSoft Consultant, I was involved in implementing customizations, enhancements and production support in PS FSCM Procure-To-Pay and Order-To-Cash modules, which include (AP, PO, ePro, SPro, PC, CA, OM, AR, BI and GL) for NASDAQ OMX, which is a sister company of NASDAQ based out of Rockville, MD. Being part of the NASDAQ’s OMX PeopleSoft implementation team I was involved in implementing 1. PeopleSoft Application Upgrade FSCM from 9.0 to 9.1 and tools 8.49 to 8.51, 2. Asset Management module, and 3. eProcurement’s Express Requisition Customization.

Responsibilities:

I was involved in providing production-support on Procure-To-Pay related issues. Worked with PS Financial/FSCM table structures module wise in ePro, PO, AP, AM, GL, OM, AR, BI, CA, and PC, etc…

Being a project lead, implemented eProcurement’s Express Requisition by customizing it as per the client’s requirements. 1. To make it user-friendly. 2. To reduce the number of clicks. 3. To remove the confusion of traversing multiple pages in Express Requisition Component. I achieved this by redesigning the Create Requisition Component and keeping the Create Requisition intact as delivered and not compromising on the Create Requisition functionality. Did unit testing, and system testing successfully. Created functional and technical specifications for the same.

Customized AE programs PV_AUTO_SRC, PO_POCALC, and PO_POCREATE to update currency code on PO_HDR and PO_LINE_DISTRIB tables to REQ_HDR currency code, and exchange rate and merchandise amount base on and PO_LINE_DISTRIB to REQ_LN_DISTRIB table. This is done to keep Requisition and PO tables in sync and to avoid errors at the time of matching in Payables using AP_MATCH process.

Involved in running and providing support to AE programs PO_PORECON and PO_POREOPEN in production database. Customized Purchase Order component page for displaying REQ_ID and REQUESTOR_ID as per the business requirements.

Involved in implementing Procure-to-Pay modules for NASDAQ OMX Nordic (Europe). Developed new inbound/outbound interfaces between ePOM (3rd Party P2P Application) and PeopleSoft PO and AP modules, for uploading invoices into PeopleSoft FSCM and vice-versa. Invoices from ePOM are updated into voucher staging tables and voucher build process AP_VCHRBLD is ran to create vouchers in PeopleSoft.

Developed outbound interfaces to send PeopleSoft Invoice data into ePOM for keeping Invoice data in sync.

Interfaces are developed using PeopleSoft objects like fields, record definitions, views, pages, components, menus, application engines, file-layouts and people code.

Pages on Voucher component are customized to display the mandatory data from ePOM (3rd Party P2P Application).

Developed a new application engine program and new SQR report for creating new Email Payment Advice as per the NASDAQ’s business requirement.

Did customizations and provided production support on PC, OM, AR, BI and GL modules. Created several custom nVision reports in GL module using trees.

Asset Management: Created customized SQR conversion programs for converting existing assets (tangible & intangible) from PS 8.8 to PS 9.1 into AM interface loader tables (INTFC_FIN & INTFC_PHY_A).

Ran the Transaction edit program (AMIFEDIT) to perform edit checks on the data fields to be loaded into PS AM tables. After reviewing the data, ran Transaction Loader process (AMIF1000) to transfer data from loader tables to Asset Management tables to create assets in PS.

Ran depreciation process (AM_DEPR_CALC) to calculate depreciation for the converted assets. Ran (AM_AMAEDIST) to create accounting entries into GL.

Loaded retired assets from 8.8 to 9.1 separately using a similar SQR conversion program as mentioned above with a different set of data.

Customized Asset Management Profile pages within Profile component for adding custom fields. Helped users in adding and managing assets.

Created new setup pages and components for creating and maintaining AM configurable data.

Migrated PS AM configurable data from 8.8 to 9.1 databases using database link and data-mover scripts.

Wrote PeopleCode for validating the data entered by the users and updating the data into PS tables.

Created new custom reports and modified delivered reports in AM module as per the business requirements.

Being part of the upgrade team;

Downloaded upgrade template and imported it into change assistant, helped upgrade lead by running some of the upgrade jobs in initial pass and test-run of move to production exercise.

Ran the compare reports between DEMO & UCOP (Upgraded Copy of Production) and present them to the technical team/end users, and assisted them to review and make decisions on the appropriate actions for the objects.

Created and maintained a Project Error Log/Issues Log for problems encountered during the Upgrade activities (Module, Issue Type -Code/Enhancement) and addressed the issues according to the Priority levels and documented the resolutions.

Involved in identifying custom projects having custom objects and custom peoplecode definitions for analyzing and retro-fitting those definitions in copy of production target database – being part of the initial pass using Change Assistant.

Based on compare reports analysis, involved in copying new objects and peoplecode from source demo database and retrofitting existing customized objects and peoplecode to copy of production target database. Modified sqr reports for any record definition changes to keep them in sync. Made sure all the customizations are migrated properly to target database using compare reports.

Resolved issues related with nVision reports at the time of upgrading to PS FSCM 9.1, which includes layouts, instances, timeouts, interface exceptions, and application server settings.

All the customizations are thoroughly unit tested and system tested in QA as part of the UAT, before those upgrade projects are finally migrated from upgraded copy of production to final move to production database.

Used Object-Oriented PeopleCode, Page PeopleCode, Component PeopleCode, Component Record PeopleCode and Record Fields PeopleCode extensively wherever required.

I finished all my tasks/deliverables on time based on the project plan and worked with business users, functional and technical team members closely and I am a very good team player.

I was involved in developing customizations and reports in GL, KK, AP, AM, CM, PO, Project Costing, Contracts, Grants and eProcurement modules.

Being part of the development team along with Oracle consulting team, involved in providing solutions to Cabelas’ ongoing production support in PeopleSoft CRM 9.0, FSCM 9.0 and People Tools 8.49 applications. Cabelas is a direct marketer and specialty retailer of hunting, fishing, camping and related outdoor recreation merchandise, based in Sidney, Nebraska.

Role: As a Functional and Technical consultant involved in resolving functional and technical related issues, enhancements, and new business requirements on a day-to-day basis related with Order Capture, Payments, Fulfillments, and Settlements in PS CRM applications and (RMAs, Invoicing, BI, GL, AP and PO) in FSCM applications. PS CRM is integrated with legacy system AS400 for Fulfillments and Settlements, JDE for accounting and FSCM for OM, RMAs, AP, AR, Billing and Invoicing purposes.

Interacted with Oracle architect-technical manager, module leads, client’s business/functional team, and QA team on a daily basis to research and analyze issues assigned to me, based on the Issue & Defect Management System called Serena.

If an issue has been identified by the business/functional team as a functional gap or a new business requirement in existing CRMS system, a functional design specification is created and upon approval by the functional team technical design specification is created and development is done using peopelsoft people tools.

PeopleSoft Development Projects are created in peopelsoft using people tools and they are unit tested based on the test cases created by the business analysts. PeopleSoft projects are then migrated to QA for testing purposes, upon approval by the QA team the PS projects are migrated to production.

If the issue has been identified as a technical issue based on the analysis, then that issue is fixed and unit tested and a new technical design is created and upon approval by the QA team the PS project is migrated to production.

Created custom setup tables and pages for entering configurable data for maintaining and adjusting payments, and fulfilling settlements for orders and providing refunds to the customers.

Used Application Packages, Object oriented people code, component people code, component record people code and record people code concepts for validating and updating the data in PS CRM and FSCM applications.

Following modules were implemented: Student Records, Campus Community, Recruiting and Admissions, Student Financials, and Campus Self-Service.

Responsibilities:

As an ongoing process, added and modified the configurable data for some of the setup tables from time to time, based on the input from the business analysts/users and documented the configurable data appropriately for future references.

Involved in business meetings with business users and end users from enrollment, registration, and faculty departments for gathering new business requirements based on the gaps identified by them in the existing system.

Created functional and technical specification designs, upon approval from the business team did the development work, which includes both customizations and enhancements.

Created new Setup Tables, Pages, and Components and wrote People Code for validating and updating the data.

Customized PeopleSoft delivered components based on the business requirements and updated the underlying PeopleSoft tables appropriately

Involved in setting up Student Term Activation in development environment. Involved in Creating Enrollment and Validation of Appointments for students using Student Records.

Customized Customer Accounts Component, Established and Maintained Payment Plans for Students using Student Financials.

Based on the business rules, validated the customizations using People Code and populated appropriate error messages for inputting valid data.

Used People Tools, Application Designer, Records, Pages, Components, and People Code for customizing PeopleSoft Objects.

Provided production support, fixed bugs both functional and technical related, developed and implemented new business requirements.

Unit tested new developments, customizations and enhancements in development database as per the test scripts and migrated projects from development database to QA database.
