Project requirement: Sales and Operation Planning Accelerator (SOPM) is developed as an additional functionality to the Sales Planning Accelerator.SOP is to plan for the production and capacity for products (finished goods), its plant distribution and the raw material procurement for the products (finished goods. The production demand is retrieved from the SPA and further it’s added to Sales and Operation Planning Accelerator. It also provides a product wise Profit/Loss analysis.

Role/Responsibility:

Planning done for production of finished goods at No Plant, Gross Production and net production are calculated. User enterable adjustment is allowed to maintain the Gap.

Capacity planning for products that take in to account the required hours and available hrs.

Plant distribution is done using the allocation logic and it’s distributed from No Plant to All Plants.

Procurement planning done with the planning of raw materials required for the production of each product and a BOM explosion is done at the ABAP end, i.e. means the net production will send the amount of each quantity of raw material required.

Created various BPC planning templates like Production Plan, Capacity Plan, Plant Distribution, Procurement plan and Product wise P/L report.

Included extensive VB codes in the above templates to gain much additional functionality like Expand, Collapse the column or rows based on the parent level members, recalculate the formulas.

Added members on the fly (adding master data from the excel) with the help of ABAP function modules and web services
