Develop, test, and maintain a configurable data processing application for multiple clients. The application processes bulk of data such as insurance claims, storing their metadata etc., and performing several ETL operations using Scala, Groovy, Spark and other Big Data technologies.

Designed and developed a configurable rules engine for multiple clients, to calculate the rewards earned by each of the employee using PL/SQL. This helped reduce the development time for creating client specific procedures.

Coded for an auditing mechanism using triggers to keep track of the payouts for each member. This audited data was used in sending alert emails in-case of any deviation from the predefined threshold, using JavaMail API.

Implemented a module that publishes data to RabbitMQ, Kafka and Amazon SQS, also implemented a RabbitMQ listener.

Built a API service layer to retrieve customer information from Cassandra using Spring.

Developed unit test cases for the message queue and service layer modules using Mockito and JUnit.
