Work Experience

Chief Metallurgists Oil Turbo Compressor Company (OTC) Tehran Iran Oct 2008-Mar-2016

Lead a metallurgical team (7 members) for manufacturing 45 different casting parts of IGT25 gas turbine in Iran.

Responsible for daily production and testing of different alloys such as ductile iron +Mo, Martensitic stainless steel, Cr-Mo steel, IN 738 LC casting parts including mechanical and metallography tests.

Responsible for improving the soundness of variety of casting parts by modifying technology of feeding and gating system and minimizing human error.

Managing and inspection of more than 70 different forging parts of SGT-600 Siemens gas turbine including rings, shafts, hubs, spacer rings from different Martensitic stainless steel, Ni based superalloys (IN-718, Alloy 901) and Ti -6Al- 4V compressor blades in Italian and German based company.

Material selection of substitute alloys for Iranian National Gas Turbine. Responsible for daily problem solving of all departments inquiries for metallurgical issues as well as interaction with suppliers for being on the right track to meet their deadlines.

QA/QC Supervisor Iranian Oilfield Service Company, Kish Island Iran Jun 2004-Oct 2008

Lead quality department and management representative for supplying day to day different components and material requirement for the off shore oil rig.

Implementing ISO 9001:2008 management system and perform bi yearly internal audit to make sure all aspects are viable and traceable to improve and manage quality of the activities.
