SUMMARY
I am an information systems developer with a strong background supporting COBOL based mainframe applications in the Health Care Insurance industry. Starting with EDS (absorbed by Hewlett Packard in 2008), most of those years were spent in a production support capacity, and at various times in a technical leader or project manager role. I am most comfortable in a MVS environment where I can leverage my vast experience with mainframe languages and utilities. Processes improvement is at the forefront of my thought process, and recognizing gaps in productivity and developing automated solutions to close those gaps is my specialty.
