PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Wellpinit School District Transportation Coordinator 2002 to Present

Wellpinit, WA

Lead bus driver for the Wellpinit school district, responsible for daily student transportation between schools, neighborhoods and school activities, both throughout the Reservation and remote locations, during the regular school year and during the off school summer months, as needed.

Maintains the student disciplinary process in order to ensure safe transportation.

Maintains safety standards in compliance with state, federal and insurance regulations.

Assists Transportation Supervisor with developing and administering the district’s transportation program to meet all of the safety requirements and standards, including assessing road conditions and assisting in determining inclement weather scheduled.

Ensures scheduling, dispatching, and other related duties are fulfilled.

Experienced with gasoline, diesel and electric powered multi-passenger vehicles.

Regularly participate in emergency and weekend schedules, as well as after hour sporting and recreation routes.

Assesses all areas to determine need for maintenance and works independently or as a team to ensure repairs are made with the least impact to school schedules. This includes, but is not limited to: heating, air and ventilation systems, foodservice equipment, roofs, plumbing, lighting and electrical systems and structural renovations as necessary.
