• Provides regional SOH policies, plans, and procedures necessary to be included in Agency's SOH program as it relates to the safety and health and emergency preparedness of government employees at assigned locations or functions.

Naval Surface Warfare Command- Dahlgren Virginia November 2012-Sep 2013 System Safety Engineer NT05. Weapons System Safety, Littoral Combat Platform, Occupational Health System Safety.
• Provide review and analysis of inspection results of functional systems throughout the LCS class ships, ensuring that all areas meet or exceed Navy, DoD, Federal and Naval Vessel Rules for design, operation and safety in areas manned by the crew. Documentation and evaluations were used to successfully gain the approval of the Weapons Explosive Safety Evaluation Board (WESERB) in order to proceed with manned testing and ship deployment.
• NAVOSH, OSHA and NFPA requirements, review of Industrial Hygiene and medical surveillance programs, mishap and accident investigations, fire supression and detection systems and HAZMAT storage and usage aboard all LCS class ships
• Provide support to the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program by assessing problem report, test observations and software and safety review boards providing feedback and analysis using established system safety practices and knowledge of Navy Occupational Health and Safety, OSHA, NFPA and ANSI standards to provide risk analysis.

Spearheaded the development of an active training plan and emergency response procedures involving both DoD fire and medical personnel as well as local civilian departments. Conducted training with company personnel as well as sub-contractors for safe practices on active runways.
