I extracted oils, metals, debris and other hazardous materials out of the plant water to make applicable for city useable. I operated cyanide oxidaters, chrome reducers, clarifiers, filter presses, micro-filters, hoses and pump. I visually checked PH and level sensors, PH and ORP, probes, floats and alarms. A lot of things were done from the computer. Most things had to be adjusted chemically. Operated forklift trucks and pallet jacks. We also made use of various presses.

To obtain the correct recipes from the computer. Then use a forklift to obtain the proper chemicals per each recipe. Transfer the proper oil for blending with the chemical per recipe. Use a barrel tipper to add chemicals. Operate tank at correct temperature and time per recipe. Usually were operating on four or five recipes simultaneously. Transfer finish product to proper packaging tank. Clean tank s with correct chemicals. Unload rail cars into correct oil tanks. Sample oils for quality Maintain paper work and enter data entry.

Grease Former
To obtain information on daily status of all kettles and to inform others on next shift of updated status of all kettles. To obtain recipes to make proper type of grease that is needed for that day. To weigh out ingredients needed per recipe. To make proper transfer of correct oils needed per kettle slurry tanks. To dump dry ingredients which are unusually in 50lb bags. Each dry component may include 10,000 lbs. of dumping.) Into mix kettles, from there they are transferred to cooking kettles. Then there are liquid chemicals added to cause a chemical reaction between dry ingredients slurry and proper oil to start reaction for altering hot grease. Then a cooking process is to be operated which includes yet other chemicals and dry ingredient slurries (slurries are in oil or water) to be added at certain temperatures Monitor for make sure components don’t get to thick or thin more additions are made to stop problem. Then transfer to cooling kettles at right state.

I operated all core areas including warehouse: loading and unloading trucks with a forklift or connected to a silo. Ordering stock, taking inventory, entering accurate data from proper recipes to take into account what materials were used. Mash pre: the weighting out of materials and dumping them into a tank in 1-100lbs increments, totaling 20-3,000 lbs. Fermentation: The cleaning, sterilizing, sterile filling inoculation of vessels. There are 11 vessels and we may run 5 different micro- organisms. We controlled them via air, agitation, pH temperature, feed rate and level. Recovery the separation of cell bodies from the enzymes via rvf, uf, presses, centrifuge, resin, charcoal, pancake and string wound. Micro filtration: ongoing process with sampling to obtain correct ratio of water cross flow to enzymes. Pack out: putting final product in ails, drums, cubes, or semis. FLOAT: operated waste water, boilers, chillers, cooling tower and general cleaning. Plus, I trained others in all these areas. Used pallet jack.

I handle all the day to day transactions, so I could balance the daily journal. From that I would take the extra cash and the checks to the bank nightly. I handle the accounts payable and accounts receivable. Whenever a customer was behind on their charge payments it was my job to call them. I did color matching by eye not a recipe. I went out measured rooms for flooring, window treatments, and volume of paint needed or trouble shoot why paint was not adhering. Attended to retail customers, professional painters and corporate contractors. Solicited other business in order to expand our territory. Order stock weekly, unloaded trucks and stocked shelves, did inventory monthly, helped in selecting new hires, trained new hires, and set schedules for part timers.

I had a Wisconsin boiler license (23yrs) and forklift license. I was selected as the only American operator to go to Finland and Sweden to work on a special product for a new recovery process. I operated all 6 core areas while most rand 2. I was rewarded for making the processes more effective.
