Supported the laboratory information system for Kaiser Permanente information technology. This assignment

involved supporting the Cerner Millennium windows front end applications to maintain laboratory information

support for end users who use the software to report results to the appropriate parties and utilized the Unix(AIX)

back end for querying, installing instrument interfaces, report development, and resolving system conflicts that

may impact patient results.

Some of my skills include the following:

•Strengthened developmental methodologies by introducing a code quality document.

• Built, tested and deployed scalable, highly available and modular software products.

•Wrote and implemented scripts to enhance user experience and integrated scripts with the CMS.

• Modified existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware and improve performance.

•Worked closely with clients to establish problem specifications and system designs.

•Performed regression and system-level testing to verify software quality and function before it was released.

•Monitored and updated back-end data by inter-communicating between Cerner Millennium and Unix/AIX.
