I have worked in the clinical laboratory field and in Clinical IT support for 10 + years. What I have to offer is a wealth
of years of clinical experience and IT experience used with multiple IT coworkers, software, and medical instrument
vendors. My skill set includes training installation, and troubleshooting, working to find solutions, multiple mechanical skills that required fixing various laboratory equipment.
SKILLS
•MT (ASCP) board certified – 189880 (current member)
•Advanced problem solving skills (using Cerner Millennium)
•A team player that drives for results/solutions on assignments and projects.
•Data management (using Cerner Millennium)
•Troubleshooting and debugging Cerner’s window’s front end applications and the Unix (AIX) Application.
•Enjoy troubleshooting and resolving issues. Certain issues involved working with the software vendors for problem resolutions.
•Utilize the lessons learned to address any potential issues in the future.
•Certain issues involved working with the software vendor for problem resolution.
•Process includes building, testing in a non-production environment, developing an implementation plan, documenting the procedures according SOX requirements, then promoting the changes into production.
•In addition, developed quality control, written requirements, then promoting the changes.
Wrote several programs (rules) to increase the proficiency of production according to laboratory workflow. In regards to UNIX training, I installed multiple medical device interfaces, and developed queries for reports and updated statements to resolve troubleshooting issues to improve Cerner millennium functionality and performance.

back end for querying, installing instrument interfaces, report development, and resolving system conflicts that
may impact patient results.
Some of my skills include the following:
•Strengthened developmental methodologies by introducing a code quality document.
• Built, tested and deployed scalable, highly available and modular software products.
•Wrote and implemented scripts to enhance user experience and integrated scripts with the CMS.
• Modified existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware and improve performance.
•Worked closely with clients to establish problem specifications and system designs.
•Performed regression and system-level testing to verify software quality and function before it was released.
•Monitored and updated back-end data by inter-communicating between Cerner Millennium and Unix/AIX.
•Evaluated potential software products based on new and existing system development and migration
requirements.
