RF DAS IBS Design and Optimization Engineer.

Review Design in Building DAS systems using iBwave. Examine and analyze the collected CW and on Call Test Data and validate it for post processing. Deliver equipment list, Link Budget, coverage, Handover plots.

Post Process the RF Collected RF Test Data using Gstation Software, and report on the bad KPI indicators such as UE Tx % of high values, Low Ec /Io or RSRQ & CQI (for LTE), poor RSCP, or ( RSRP & RNTP for LTE) for no dominant server (pilot pollution), poor SIR for UMTS or HII (for LTE), or poor isolation (RF bleeding, sectors interleaving).

Diagnose the poor performance Integrity or retain-ability KPI (for served technologies) and suggest changes in network parameters such as neighbor list add/remove sectors, (for UMTS UE Tx power, SHO Add/replace/Remove Thresholds and Trigger Timers), Antenna tilting / orientation, etc. to improve KPI.

For RF Design: Propagation Model calibration, Network sizing (number of sectors) based on anticipated offered traffic load & Blocking rate. Ensure that no IM products expected when we have multi-sectors, or multi-systems or operators sharing a DAS backbone. Interference analysis and mitigation, RF Human Exposure calculations (FCC B. 65, or Industry Canada Code 6).

Dec 10 – March 2011: Power Wave WMATA Project in Greater Washington DC area, Vienna, VA

January 09- Dec 09: ClearWire Inc, Kirkland, Seattle Area WA.

WiMax 3G- RF network design Engineer,

For 60 sites, design and developed a link budget, for a good cell site coverage, attend zoning hearing, perform PN Code planning, traffic analysis/modeling, interference inter-modulation analysis for co-location, develop Search rings, and network sizing.

Microwave Link design, survey and evaluation. Using PathLoss V.4 tool, ensure Link availability over the required path considering the terrain Profile, available Ant height, equipment Specs frequency band, & Link Budget, Bandwidth, area Rain average.

March 04 – Dec. 08: Sprint/ Nextel in Columbia, MD:

RF Design Lead Engineer

I used Motorola IOS iDEN Performance Metrics Analysis, where measurement data is collected from provisioned mobiles instead of CW drive test units. IOS delivers hardware, Neighbor Add/delete, and C/I matrix for use in Frequency Planning in Cell Opt. Optimized propagation model based on imported Drive test Data (using Agilant).

For outdoor DAS, used Waveisght Ray tracing model for Sprint (for Active) to improve coverage (FER for CDMA, SQE for iDEN), used Fiber cables for some indoor DAS nodes using iBwave tool. Identify and justify Macro /Micro sites to be converted to outdoor Das sites. Link outdoor DAS sites with Microwave (for Active systems) to Donor BTS, calculate Link budget, Site Survey to plot measured RSSI, FER, and RF Human Exposure calculations (FCC B. 65, or Industry Canada Code 6).

July 03 - Feb 04: Sprint PCS, Chicago,
