Fabricated coil steel into construction studs and track. Operations included master (mill) coil slitting, roll forming of structural shapes (14 lines), manual shears and brakes, plus warehousing, shipping, and in-house trucking. Serve mid-Atlantic and New England construction industry.

Improved master coil slitting efficiency 15% by introducing new scheduling algorithm and implementing visual reporting and graphing charts. Improved labor productivity by 6%, offsetting rise in wages to net 3% improvement in labor costs. Also reduced use of temporary employees by75% while not hiring additional f/t employees.
