EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Lean Coordinator Earned Lean Coordinator certificate and facilitated several Kaizen events including one with the Boeing Lean Enterprise Team in Istanbul, Turkey for Turkish Airlines. Used Lean to implement a new Shipping layout improving the order-to-ship KPI from low 70% to 97%. Also used Lean processes to improve Part Per Hour (PPH) in Receiving from 8 PPH (per employee) to 12 PPH and implemented 5S in the area. Have also received addition training in the Toyota Production System (TPS).
Project and Change
Management
Have received in-depth Project Management and Change Management training in-house at Delta Air Lines. With this training I have specialized in facilitating many projects as the Project Manager and have training in the Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) process. Selected as the IT business side Project Manager for several projects including new work card system and Planning system enhancement. Was granted IT level access to systems and databases. Trained customers on all IT projects, included domestic and international training, and used Change Management skills for transitioning to new systems and processes.
As Project Manager facilitated integration projects for Planning processes of the merged airline. Do to my success with Planning I was selected as Project Manager for the integration of Logistics & Distribution. Used Change Management training and techniques for the integration projects.
Database Expert Advanced skills with Hyperion and SAS as a user and developer to create queries used for several departments in daily, monthly, and yearly reporting for performance and budget needs. Also an advanced user in all MS Office products, especially Excel for data mining, analysis, and reporting.
Volunteering I volunteer for many organizations in my neighborhood and community. I am an active volunteer in my neighborhood through the Grant Park Neighborhood Association (GPNA) volunteering for several events a year, including having my home on the annual Tour of Homes. I also volunteer with the Grant Park Conservancy (GPC) for several annual fundraisers including the Summer Shade Festival. I also participate every year in Habitat for Humanity home builds and Kaboom! playground builds. I also assist in helping with the annual Run Before You Crawl 5k in Grant Park that raises money for GPNA, GPC, and the neighborhood schools.
Private Pilot License I have earned pilots license and have approximately around 120 hours time as pilot in command.
