:

Using NI LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) software and Database Toolkit Module the timer management system was developed for automated PC-based class hour automation. This system is cheaper than conventional standalone controller based systems.

It has been developed using Microsoft Office Access database 2007, LabVIEW software and a bell activation hardware. It has a GUI (Graphical User Interface) to configure the periods and a time management module to make the system to trigger the bell. After processing the time management logic, the system, based on pre-conditions, decides to activate the bell system hardware. This system works in standalone mode with a single generic type bell hardware.
