Lead Senior Mechanical System Design Engineer

Responsible for equipment design, specification, inquiry, quote evaluation, purchase, drawing and calculation review and client approval of semi conductor and industrial vacuum general assemblies. Systems were used in the semiconductor industry to help create the environment needed for top chip manufactures to create industry leading technology. Layouts included vacuum plumbing, structural steel, weldments, sheet metal, P&ID’s, general arrangement assemblies, and FEA diagnostics. Generate supporting documentation for water and nitrogen flow requirements. Other goals achieved were cycle time reduction, inventory reduction, and general fabrication cost reduction. Mentored junior level engineers on company's design process and general engineering practices. Most of this was accomplished using Inventor, AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, and Vault.
