Project 1: Design and Fabrication of Flying Wing

Designed 2D and 3D components of the airplane using SolidWorks.

Optimized the wing structure design using ANSYS and undertook the stress analysis of the payload bay for maximum payload.

Generated and transferred CNC data to machine tools to the CNC machine technicians for the fabrication of fuselage and wings.

Presented the working model at SAE Aero Design West 2014 held in Texas, USA in March 2014.
