CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, Delray Beach, FL 2014 - Present

Principal Engineer (2016-Present)

Oversee major infrastructure design and construction projects as part of the Environmental Services & Engineering Division. Review, assess, and approve plans for private development projects across the city. Verify plan compliance with contract requirements. Present project plans before local commissions, city boards, and homeowners’ associations. Leverage knowledge of data management workflows to facilitate smooth project execution. Regularly inspect project progress. Liaise between architects, contractors, and City. Notify public of project progress and upcoming events.

Beach Master Plan

Budget: $3M Team Size: 14 Completion Time: 6 months

Oversaw installation of new beachside facilities, including 1.3 miles of exposed aggregate colored concrete, along with new showers, fountains, benches, bike racks, utilities, and landscaping.

Old School Square Center for the Arts Renovation

Managed renovation of a multi-facility site, including replacement of roofs and utilities, and exterior repairs and upgrades.

CITY OF CORAL SPRINGS, Coral Springs, FL 2009 - 2014

Civil Engineer

Design, engineer, and supervise execution of large-scale construction and renovations projects undertaken by the city Public Works Department and Utilities Division. Reported directly to the Director of Public Works and the Utility Operation Manager. Inspect project progress on a daily basis. Supervise tradesmen and contractors. Create and manage project budgets. Liaise between architects, contractors, and City. Perform utility installations and replacements.

Managed expansion of water treatment facility. Oversaw installation of chemical storage building, 4-aerators, utility piping, 6-high service pumps and valves, electrical systems, sludge dewatering press, and new clarifier bridge systems.

Coral Springs Center for the Arts Renovation

Budget: $2.5M Team Size: 12 Completion Time: 8 months

Replaced the whole roofing system, while also repairing the waterproofing and repainting the exterior.

Underground Utility Improvements

Budget: $2.8M Team Size: 9 Completion Time: 36 months

Designed and installed new city water mains and water services. Rehabilitated sanitary sewer mains and life stations.
