To Whom It May Concern;
Through much research online and on Refer.io, it has come to my attention that your company is the type of company that would benefit from my skills and education. The products you design and manufacture are innovative and practical while serving real world applications for your customer base. The expertise your engineers have will no doubt continue to help move your product line forward into the future and I truly believe I would be a valuable asset in this venture. I earned a BA in a Mechanical Engineering while working multiple fulltime jobs simultaneously. Doing this showed myself how to persevere through tough times and taught me the importance of time management. By taking the engineering courses I gained a very keen sense of logic and I am very good at problem solving. I enjoy projects that involve logic and reasoning in order to solve, like putting together a large puzzle, or fixing a manufacturing issue on the assembly line.
Also, the different jobs I have held taught me additional valuable skills that will make me a perfect fit for your company. Skills such as: being an entry-level employee that takes orders from the bosses, to being in the team leader position delegating the work to a team of staff members. Throughout these experiences I have learned to achieve all goals set in a timely manner while still having the patience and hard-work ethic to make sure the job is finished thoroughly and completely. I spent time in a machine shop operating the equipment that takes the raw material through the manufacturing process until it was a finished product. I have experience working on designing products, building prototypes to ensure the design and manufacturing feasibility, testing the products to confirm they will meet the customer’s needs and specifications, and smoothly transitioning the final product into the manufacturing facility. In addition to my manufacturing and designing skills, I have worked in the office on the commercial side of a business, dealing with the necessary day-to-day customer interactions that build strong, healthy relationships. My computer skills have been useful and being able to pick up new software quickly has always been one of my strong qualities. Please take the time to review my credentials. I feel that my education and abilities will be a valuable asset, and we would both benefit from the work and research we could accomplish together. Please contact me so we can schedule an appointment to meet and discuss how our impending partnership will help improve the business into the future. Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely,
Timothy P. Austin II
