Re-engineered an inefficiently designed ORACLE database to improve system performance.

Designed 1.2TB magnetic disk array FileNET PAGE cache on EMC system to expand for future growth and also provide a more immediate access of data so that queried data would not have to be fetched from optical storage.

Designed a backup solution to a magnetic disk repository lessening system downtime and also streamlining data recovery. Long-term backups were then made to tape from disk that did not require the application to be off-line.

Developed a Disaster Recovery solution at a secondary site using the FileNet Multi-System-Synchronization enabling a “hot-swap” of production continuation.

Orchestrated Image system upgrade migrating from HP-UX to Solaris Operating system and Oracle RDBMS
