Becton Dickinson Senior Design Project Sep 2016 - May 2017 Redesigned an industrial test bench for cutting glass syringes by modifying the manufacturing process to control the positioning of the glass cane relative to the burner and chill wheel, thereby influencing the quality of the cut.

This project successfully improved over the efficiency of previous production machines.

● Specialized on the cut module subsystem, which comprises of 2 vital components: burner and chill wheel.

● Extensive use of SolidWorks to design and produce a drawing package for compatible mounts and frames.

● Machining and use of tools to assemble the cut module subsystem, which includes the plumbing for the gas and compressed air.

Biomechanics Academic Honors Research Jan 2017 - May 2017 Recorded biomechanical data of human subjects exercising and performing various nursing tasks using Human Machine Controls program and analyzed the data in Matlab under the direction of a graduate and a Ph.D. student.

Biomedical Product Design Jan 2017 - May 2017

Collaborated with a small team in a graduate level bioengineering course to conduct extensive customer interviews with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and patients in the US and abroad. A complete research and commercialization plan was written for the implant that could revolutionize treatment options for glaucoma patients.
