PERSONAL DETAILS:

• I was awarded a full scholarship to La Salle Catholic College Preparatory through Precision Castparts Corporation and The Boys & Girls Club. I received this scholarship based on academics, attitude, and community service. I chose to go to La Salle to better my education and to challenge myself academically.

• Upon graduation, I was chosen by staff and teachers at La Salle to be presented with the Service Award, in recognition of selflessness to the community. I was awarded a full scholarship for the next two years to attend Portland or Clackamas Community College.

• I am a graduate of Outward Bound, an outdoor program/workshop that taught me the importance of working with others and helped me discover skills and qualities about myself. Outward Bound tested my physical and emotional limits in challenging outdoor adventure programs.

• I attended Oregon Beaver’s Boys State in Summer of 2008. This is a premiere leadership and civics camp conducted by The American Legion This is a prestigious program that helps you learn about democracy and the government. I was 1 of 3 in my school to receive the spot to go to Boy’s State and to have the tuition paid for based on my academic achievements and extracurricular activities.
