In April 2015 I was hired as hourly floor staff for the Glencoe location. Within the first week it was propositioned that once I complete basic training proving capabilities of working each department that I begin management training. After 6 months I was offered the opportunity to become a General Manger if I could prove myself over the holiday season. As of January 2016 I was named 1 of 2 company General Mangers. I was responsible for overseeing the company's busiest store. The responsibilities included: overseeing a staff up to 40 (including at least 4 other managers), training managers, orders, inventories, scheduling, payroll, hiring/orientations/firing, direct customer interaction, development and execution of new ideas to increase business/efficiency

Brunch, Big Onion Tavern Group Feb '14- Mar '15

In the year I spent at Brunch it went from a struggling restaurant to one that was actually profitable. I wore every hat possible while working there including: line cook, server, bartender, food runner, busser, expo, and AGM. Management duties included but not limited to: inventories, orders, counting drawers/deposits, management of both front and back of house, hiring/orientations/firing, menu development, restaurant promotion, direct customer interaction (table touching/ problem solving/ establishing regular clientele), promotional photography, development of social media, booking/coordinating events for restaurant, aiding in after hours events.

Assistant General Manager/ Acting GM for Goddess and Grocer Gold Coast

Worked every position in this gourmet grocery store and deli. I aided in managing a staff of approximately 30 while running a quick service restaurant and deliveries. The establishment offered service in which the guest placed the order at the counter for either case food items or sandwiches, soups, salads to be prepared and served. Responsibilities included: staffing/training/scheduling, product ordering, inventories, daily store deposits, store maintenance/upkeep, etc.

Sous Chef for Cru Kitchen and Bar: Spent two months overseeing a kitchen while it was going through a transitional phase. Responsible for specials, ordering, inventories, managing staff.

Sixteen: Trump Towers, Chicago, IL Sept ’10- Sept ‘12

Cook: While holding a line cook position I was able to accept a variety of different responsibilities allowing myself to further develop my skill set. I have worked all three stations within the restaurant for dinner service as well as helping in both banquets and in-room-dinning as needed.

Banquette Server: Aided in serving parties up to 500 people. This included everything from room set up to break down for all service styles within a fine dinning setting.
