Oracle Linux migration:

Going forward the Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.5 and 7.x are the standard versions. Hence the other Linux versions like SUSE 9.10 and 11 are being migrated to OEL. I collaborated with other teams and successfully migrated over 400+ servers to OEL. I was involved in project calls to co-ordinate the work and helped them to complete the projects in time.

Datacenter Rationalization:

The Data Center Rationalization (DCR) program was established to reduce our data center footprint. It started out as a “lift and shift” program to move assets to a small number of strategic data centers has evolved to a highly integrated and strategic effort that’s saving millions of dollars for the company year over year. I worked with project manager and involved in project calls from platform support end and helped the project to complete smooth and fast.

FTP configuration:

After migrating from Solaris to OEL there were some discrepancies in FTP accounts for customers. I personally took over this assignment and resolved the issues and fulfilled the customer requests.
