BOARD OF DIRECTORS (non-profit)

Served as the director and executive staff member in driving organizational operations, and providing guidance on issues pertaining to organizational sustainability, program development and strategic planning, while partnering in coordinating, organizing and managing special events, community events, and fundraising activities.

Executed the mission and vision of the Poe Center by through the provision of low-cost health education programs that benefited North Carolina’s youth as they learned to make healthy lifestyle choices.

Drove annual donation and fundraising events resulting in raising several thousands of dollars per event.

Developed, facilitated and launched comprehensive outreach programs in communities that otherwise would not receive health education for their youth.

Granted annual scholarships to upwards of $100K to students in the Wake Country School System and groups financially unable to receive health education.
