Schlumberger, Henderson, Co 2008 - 2015

Field Engineer

Oversaw for all rig site operational aspects of the Measuring While Drilling (MWD) and Logging While Drilling (LWD) systems including tool operation, quality control, failure analysis, logistics planning, and client relations while supplying clients, rig crew and directional drillers with accurate and reliable data.

Attained fast-track promotion through series of increasingly responsible positions.

Led jobs and ensured that all data presented to the customer was accurate, timely and met the highest service quality standards possible.

Generated and interpreted real time log measurements such as gamma ray, resistivity, and density. At the same time, ensured that customer data was delivered on time and met client and company standards every time.

Provided on the job training to other employees, as well as safety awareness, operating procedures and follow up assessments aiding to their progression throughout their careers.

Assembled, programmed, and tested logging tools to make sure the equipment is working properly before performing any job. This included being in charge of compliance with company standards and procedures, following all safety rules on how to safely handle radioactive source during the installation and removal from nuclear logging tools.

Worked MWD/LWD Remote Operation Engineer in the field and in the office. By working with reduced crew it saved the client money and helped utilize my company to place personal else where for a larger profit. From a distance we are able to monitor in real time and perform most functions as if an engineer was at the rig.

Identified and documented software, hardware and equipment problems with onsite troubleshooting. Being knowledgeable reduces the downtime and increases productivity and revenue.

Marine Concepts, Cape Coral, FL 2006 - 2008

Mechanical Drafter

Drafted detailed drawings of boat assemblies and final results based on customer expectations for over 162 different boating manufactures for fiberglass tooling.

Created a script language to increase productivity, saving an average 20 hours per project.

Executed daily operations of wood kitting and nesting parts for 5-axis / CNC machines with strong CADD techniques using multiple programs such as ProEngineer and Rhino.

Drafted multiple-view assembly, subassembly and layout drawings while utilizing knowledge of engineering practices, building materials, manufacturing technology and related physical sciences.

Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or reduce production problems.

Tested different resins to use to increase productivity and reduce costs. Saved the company money by testing in house, instead or resorting to outside resources.
