Responsible for coordinating, scheduling, conducting time-studies, and supervising /leading hourly employees.

Raw materials are collected and analyzed samples in support of quality assurance and industrial health and safety programs and supported manufacturing activities within the plant.

Significantly increased the daily output of sub-assembly area from 3,000 pieces to 3,500 pieces through Kaizen activities which involved automation of various components, redesign of ineffective tooling, and engineering concepts aimed to reduce quality defects.

Energy Management in Raynor Manufacturing Plant, Dixon, IL and Waste and Energy Management in Win Pak Heat Seal Corp, Pekin, IL. August 2015 - May 2016

The main purpose of the project is to assess the firm by collecting the necessary information and to figure out the energy and waste related problems which will be helpful to save the energy and as well as energy cost.

Led the team of 4 in collecting and studying the energy related documents like utility bills etc. Performed Quick PEP analysis to find out how much energy is being used by equipment in the plant.

Performed Motor Master, Air Master analysis to save the energy costs related to motors and HVAC systems. Helped the company in saving about 45% of the utility bills by suggesting few assessment recommendations.

ENGINEERING PROJECTS:

Additive Manufacturing Quality Assurance:

The project is intended to analysis the quality of the products manufactured through 3D printer using Minitab Statistical software.

DOE is conducted to study the factors that are affecting the process and the process output along with their relationships .

Gauge R&R study is done as a part TMV and also Root cause analysis is done for process.

Design and Analysis of a Bench Wise

As a part of my academic course designed a swivel bench wise and performed analysis on each part.

Utilized SolidWorks software to craft detailed designs. Created angle schematic and orthographic views of mechanical design components.

Reviewed and revised designs to avoid operating deficiencies. Assembled the parts using SolidWorks and Performed stress analysis by selecting different material properties using simulationXpress.

Design and Analysis of 4-bar and 5-bar mechanism using Creo

The project is intended to design a slider crank and Penciller mechanism and to perform simulation

Creo Designing software is used to design multiple components of the project by reviewing the engineering blueprints. Various tools like extrusion, blend, round, sweep etc is used to create a 3D model.

Assembled the parts using Creo. Generated the exploded view to have a clear idea of assembled parts.

Simulated and predicted stress and strains within the 3D models designed.

Design, Fabrication and Analysis of bio fuel extracted from waste plastics.

Designed and Fabricated a Reactor, condenser and a Collector for bio-fuel.

Led the team of seven in designing and fabricating the process equipment. Auto CAD is used to create drawings for the required parts. Created isometric and orthogonal views of mechanical components.

AutoCAD 3D is used to generated the solid structures of reactor, condenser and collector.

Created detailed parts list and bills of materials. Extracted the bio fuel by using a process called pyrolysis.

Collected the samples of bio fuel and blended with diesel fuel. Calculated the performance analysis of various blends of sample fuel.

Analyzed the amount of various gases produced during the performance test by using Indus Gas Analyzer.

Automated Plant Watering System:

The primary goal of the project is to save the water that is being wasted, it was achieved by installing a soil moisture sensor with the help of an Arduino Uno micro-controller board to sense the moisture level in the soil which triggers the electric motor to pump the water.

Coordinated the team of 4 in gathering the requirements, specifications and cost estimation.

Assembled and programmed the Arduino Uno micro-controller board by using C-language.
