Associate Chief Information Officer (ACIO)

Responsible for delivery of all clinical workflow, business intelligence and operational services for the largest healthcare

* Redesigned major elements of the organizations provider data management scheme to save the organization over $250K annually.

This upgrade in conjunction with the associated business process redesign increased technical performance by over 40% and

enhanced clinical throughput to avoid $12M in potential follow-on costs.

* Through innovation and process excellence, completely rewrote the service level agreement (SLA) structure for an existing $105M, 5-year outsourcing contract. Customer satisfaction and performance objectives met for the first time in contracts history.

* Planned, directed and administered the rollout of a new SSL-enabled ambulatory patient care application (Allscripts) in 58 remote offices, 110 primary care providers and 40 specialty clinics.

* Designed and led a comprehensive data network redesign that was separate, redundant and secure from all other Texas A&M

University System entities to achieve HIPAA conformity for the health system and its acute care, clinical and rural health partners.
