PROFILE:

I am an experienced computer engineer with an excellent academic background and seek to further develop my skills in a challenging position. I am good problem solver, always punctual, well presented and always interested in learning new technologies. I am willing to relocate to another country preferably at United Kingdom, Portugal and Spain due to knowledge of the language.

I have experience on OO programming with C/C++, OpenGL and OpenCV for image processing software. I also have experience on programming with PL/SQL on Oracle database and use of ETL tools for ETL processes. My previous employment allowed me to learn and work on data analysis using Web Intelligence, Tableau and Power BI tools.

During my masters at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, I worked remotely on the development of an algorithm using C/C++ and OpenCV to print gray scale images in high quality using the halftoning technique with random masks on monochromatic laser printers on Linux environment. This became my masters’ dissertation and later it was published in a book by Nova Edições Acadêmicas.

The goal of Project E-foto (http://www.efoto.eng.uerj.br/?lang=en) is to provide the full implementation of a digital photogrammetric workstation as free software under a GNU GPL license. I was responsible of improvement, reengineering and transition platform viewing stereo 3D terrain using anaglyph on Linux environment, using programming languages like C/C++, OpenGL and OpenCV. This became my graduation final project at State University of Rio de Janeiro and it was published as an article at XV SBSR - Brazilian Symposium on Remote Sensing.
