I.OPERATIONS-EMPLOYEE BENEFITS (PENSIONS BANKING)
Quotation / Settlement & Payment / Reconciliation :
oDirect dealing with the Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) for UK Pensions.
oProviding Pension Statements to the Client’s registered IFA.
oTo accurately calculate and communicate pension scheme benefits having regard to the Scheme Rules, Inland Revenue and legislative requirements.
oTo work on basis of core product principles and regulations that governs the products.
oCalculation of newly active members who want to discontinue with the scheme. Giving them the accrued benefits left with the scheme.
oPlanning and calculating the members’ retirement quotations based on the members total services, contributions and other benefits. It also involves revaluation of member’s benefits using the statutory revaluation order i.e. on the basis of RPI and CPI price index UK.
oSettling client’s benefits through Transfer payment, widow pension payment and retirement payment.
oMaking arrangements for the payment of the client’s lump sum and pension benefits based on which client gets direct payment in his bank account.
oSetting the payment transaction through Cashfac.
oReconciliation of the client’s pension benefits from the system with the files on the record.
oReconciliation of Client’s equity unit holdings in our files with member records and makes adjustments in order to avoid loss on investment.
oEvery Month Ends Preparing Reconciliation of Batches and inventory of receipts book, study kit and Prospectus.
oPreparing Defaulters list of every batches to hold their Certificate.
oHandling Recovery Department for daily bounced cheque’s.
AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Checks:
oWe do AML check before the client’s benefits are settled.
oChecks are done against the clients receiving scheme to ensure that the receiving scheme of the client is a registered once.
oChecks are done on the basis of Sections mentioned in the Financial Crime site.
oFinancial Conduct Authority (FCA) check to be done before transferring the payment to the client’s receiving scheme.
MIS/Reports:
oPreparing MIS reports on daily basis regarding backlog missed SLA’s Client request which is reviewed by head of department.
oPreparing Rejection files on cases audited in India to identify process gaps.
oPreparing Audit report on all the client cases done in India Team.
oPreparing daily MIS for Welingkar’s Institute and to be circulated to our higher management.
oProcessing Candidates Admissions Application Form to Welingkar’s Institute.
oHandling member’s queries on call or walk in students in institute.
oVerifying the team work and monitor the performance.
oMonthly Incentive Calculations for the Sales Team.
Knowledge management/Process improvement:
oUpdating standard operating procedures documents and manuals to facilitate smooth functioning of process, ensuring conformance to Service Level Agreements.
oIdentifying any process improvement which can be implemented in the current process to achieve more output in short span.
oInvolved in multiple projects: Standardization of process, Migration of process to Pune.
oInvolved in the revenue generating project by coordinating with UK stakeholders, CRMs and Clients.

oAuditing of all the cases processed and checked in India before passing for further release to UK Stakeholders.
