Design Engineer, January 2017 to May 2017
As design engineer working in Iron Panther Company, Abdulrahman's duties included but not limited to:
Design a trailer components using 3D CAD models
Prepare engineering product definition with associated geometric dimensioning and tolerance in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards
Create, check and maintain design disclosure documentation for engineering designs
Review project specific method statements, construction procedures and shop drawing.
Preparation of weekly and monthly reports that mainly highlight the project progress as well as the status of the Design.

Through my career being as teacher assistant of Dr. Liang whom a professor of Thermodynamics, Heat and mass transfer subject, Abdulrahman's duties included but not limited to:
Reinforce lessons presented by teachers by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small groups.
Help teachers with recordkeeping, such as tracking attendance and calculating grades
Help supervise students in class, between classes, during lunch.
Distribute tests and homework assignments, and collect them when they are completed.

Project Experience
Soiled Towel Counter Project:
Design using SolidWorks, build, and test a machine that singulates and counts industrial towels from bulk pile
Control the machine to count 120 towels per minute with accurate count feed batch of five percent tolerance
Provide design concepts drawing components, analysis using ANSIS, and propose expected costs
Dual Four Bar Coil Transfer Mechanism Project:
Designed a mechanical device to transfer 400 lb coil circuit from a weld table to a water bath and from the water bath to a lift table.
Created a seamless mechanical that can adjust to different table heights
Designed a coil grabbing mechanism that minimizes stress
Performed stress analysis with classical and finite element methods
Provide design concepts and proposed expected costs
Hammer Manufacturing Project:
Implemented fast and efficient techniques in a manufacturing lab
Designed a hammer using the machining and fabrication skills with a low tolerance of 0.02
Calculated the depth of cutting needed to create an angular surface of 45 degrees
