Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is a group of large US insurance and financial services companies based in Columbus, OH. Nationwide has been awarded the exclusive contract for general retirement plan administration for transition of data and administrative processes to the Nationwide recordkeeping system from external providers of large-scale public sector retirement plans with approximately $1 billion in assets under management (City of Seattle Deferred Compensation Plan, City of Philadelphia, City of Sacramento, etc Acquisition project was responsible for moving all plans (transfer ins/rollover ins) from the previous Plan provider’s system to Nationwide Plan administration system which involved both automation and manual testing efforts for backend and front end. The transition involves retirement plan data and under lying account level data to Nationwide database and validated for accuracy using Nationwide user interface. Assets will be mapped to a unit/share accounting fund line-up where daily trades and fund prices are performed.
