Contracts Manager– contracted to AMEC Foster Wheeler (Sept 13 – present)

Contracts Manager for AMEC Foster Wheeler on the $4.70 billion Legacy Potash Mine Project in southern Saskatchewan for German client, K+S Canada Inc.

Led a team of eight Contracts Administrators and four Contracts Technicians overseeing the contractual and commercial administration of over forty active (on site) construction and service contracts totaling in excess of $2.50 billion. Personally administered over $600 million in contracts including piling, underground utilities, site preparation (civil/horizontal works), main plant structural steel, clarifier and thickener tanks, ECD field erected tanks, load-out conveyors, 230kv power, structural pipe trestles, process plant MPEI (partial), roofing, cladding and internal finishes packages.

Contracts Manager – contracted to Fluor/Amec (Jan 12 – Sept 13)

Contracts Manager at the Fluor/Amec joint venture $1.54 billion Mount Milligan Copper and Gold Mine Project in central British Columbia. The client was Thompson Creek Metals. Had direct commercial, contractual, and administrative responsibility for a number of contracts including concrete works, underground utilities, mill and crusher installation, mechanical installation, fire protection, electrical & instrumentation installation, HVAC, and architectural finishes.

Construction Manager – Siemens Energy (Sep 08 – Dec 11)

Construction Manager at Siemens Energy Americas Division - specializing in renewable energy projects.

Responsible for overseeing and managing the entire program of above ground installation works ensuring that the project meets the technical requirements of the Supply Agreement in terms of quality and performance and also that it is completed safely, on time, and to budget.

Direct reporting staff of around thirty people including installation, commissioning, logistics, HSE and QA management, technical field advisors, and overall responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of over 120 people employed by Siemens or their subcontractors.

John Holland –Construction Project Manager – 01/2008 – 08/2008

Project Manager at the $200m Dalyrmple Bay Coal Terminal Extension in Queensland responsible for all civil and mechanical work associated with stockyard expansion including three additional machinery bunds and additional stacking/reclaiming machines.
