I am a video game developer and I love them.
In the last years I worked in this industry developing products for the digital stores but I had experiences about the creation of video games also in the cultural heritage context. In the last five years I worked with the Unity 3D engine and C# language to make my products and I have a good understanding of all of its parts.
My experience is about gameplay development, UI development, basic AI development, Shuriken's use and integration of third party packages.
With this engine I developed also softwares of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality on various technolgies (Microsoft Hololens, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Apple ARKit beta).

About me
Innovation Manager, Senior Game Developer/Designer Protom Group Spa
At the Protom Group Spa, as Innovation Manager I’m working at the conception and development of all the new company softwares with the available new techonologies. In the last year I worked to create the biggest european museum about the human body: Corporea.
This structure, based in Naples at the Science Centre, contains about 100 museal exhibits with sixty different softwares all developed with Unity 3D engine and C# language. Some of these are video games based on “Learning by Play” concept. For example, MicroBiox is a platform game like Super Mario Bros set in the human intestine.
The user controls one of four different characters, running, jumping and learning through ten levels, using touch controls on a 40’’ screen. Another example is VaxWar that’s a video game about the importance of the vaccines. In this case, the user must defend the human population, by the attacks of variuos viruses, using the bridges that he can create collecting the vaccines showed in the game level.
Both the listed titles are developed with a Finite State Machine in C# language. At last, I’m teaching children the principles of game design, of game development and of 3D modeling during free public courses.

As Co-Fouder at Born Lucky Studio srl, I worked to develop three video games published on the Apple AppStore and Google Play Store.
My tasks was about the game design and the game development of all video games. The first game was iSmuggler.
For this game I have been Lead Developer and Lead Game Designer. iSmuggler was a fast old style arcade for the Apple iOS devices that used the accelerometer to drive an old blue boat through the Mediterranean sea to smuggle illegal crates of cigarettes.
This game was developed with Cocos2D framework and Apple iOS SDK. I developed the scroll engine and most of the gameplay code. Also, I designed all the gameplay graphics using a production pipeline that started from 3D modelling to come the shaded pixel art.
The second video game was Smagnetron, a physics puzzle game for the Apple iOS devices.
For this project I have been the Lead Developer and the Lead Game Designer. The second game developed in Born Lucky Studio was Smagnetron, a physics puzzle game for the Apple iOS devices.
Also this game was developed with Cocos2D framework and we used Box2D as physics engine.
The game was published by Chilibite Games, an european producer linked to the famous Polarbit Games and it has received many good reviews by the specialized press. All the communications with this publisher have been managed by me. The last video game developed in Born Lucky Studio was Zombie Portals, a fast shot ‘em up with the particular feature of the main character’s gravity inversion. For this project I have been the Lead Developer and Lead Game Designer. This game was developed with the Unity 3D engine to build it on multiple platforms and to use the great advantages of this engine about the productivity. The project was based on a Finiste State Machine in C# language. Zombie Portals also received the Steam’s GreenLight. My role was significant for the company because I worked in the technical area, but I managed the development teams on various projects and I had customer relations. In Born Lucky Studio I worked to the development of mobile apps for various customers. One of the big customer was Coconuda fashion brand. I worked to a project of digital communication for this company and, especially, I create an app for the three different mobile operating systems (Apple iOS, Google Android, Microsoft Phone).
My tasks was about the team management (6 professionals), the Apple iOS client development and the UI/UX design of all clients.
Another example of experience inside the context of mobile apps was Dolomiti Sports.
