Project manager and member of the architecture team. My role was to manage two teams (Team A and Team B) with 6-8 members in each team. The main objective of the system is to maintain centralized instrument information. Solution features a web-enabled Java multi-tier architecture using XML SAX parser, JSP, Web Logic, EJB, Top link, and Sybase. Use UML for modeling and RUP methodology. Was responsible for the design of a subject manual for the development team, which consists of UML Business Object Model, Implementation Model, Navigation diagram, Class and Sequence diagram using Rational Rose.

Moody’s plan to upgrade their rating system (AccuRate) from the client/server (C++/Sybase) system into a Web enabled multi-tier architecture using Microsoft’s Distributed interNet Architecture (DNA). The AccuRate application to be redesigned is critical for the workflow, updates, and dissemination of ratings and publications. The primary users of the application are analysts who rate debt. Editors and members of the press desk who participate in processes connected to the rating process also use the application.

Responsibilities include design, development and management of the GUI, ASP (Scripting Objects) and Work Flow Layer. The technical evaluation of the various workflow tools required for the system and workflow recommendation reports to Moody’s management.

Projects developed during early stages of my career were assembly lib, C, C++, Clipper projects. I started as a junior programmer worked in many projects such as finance, inventory, banking at organizations such as Citibank, Agfa Gavert Ltd., and Enkay Telecommunications Pvt. Ltd. in India.

In 1993 – I was one of the founding members of a software development company (BizTech Systems) in India which provided technology solutions to the textile manufacturing units. We customized solutions and maintained ERP modules Quotation, Invoice, Sales Order, Production Planning, Stores Maintenance, Inventory, Purchase Requisition, Payroll, Accounting, Budgeting and costing.
