WORK HISTORY:

03/2014 – Current Registered Nurse Case Manager, Chester River Home Care

Have m anaged hundreds of patients over my time here in the capacity of case manager. This includes requesting insurance authorizations, coordinating with hospitals, rehabs and intake coordination, routinely admitting patients via Oasis protocol, and treating patients in their homes for all home appropriate medical management.

08/01/2012-11/08/2013 Registered Nurse Care Manager, Generations Home Care

Here I worked as an RN case manager, handling over 30 patients a week, performing routine assessments, IV therapy, injections, wound care, patient teaching, coordinating multi-disciplinary approaches for patient care, etc. Along with this I oversaw many home health aides and trained several nurses.

04/2011- 07/2011 Licensed Practical Nurse, Bear Medical Staffing

I worked at Chestertown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center through Bear Staffing on an average of 4-5 days a month. Here I worked as med nurse and/or treatment nurse on one wing of facility. I was responsible for the med administration and/or treatment of over 50 patients.

05/2005-Present: Office Manager: Lane’s Construction LLC

I have continued to operate in our construction company as an office manager, writing contracts, proposals, invoicing, scheduling, payroll, etc. Due to the decrease of production in the construction industry, we have had to downsize and any work that needs to be done in the capacity of office manager can be done either by my husband or me in the evenings. Before the decrease in the housing market, we had up to 21 employees at times.

12/21/2002-08/01/2005: Title Searcher, Midlantic Group of Companies, PA

Here I worked as a title searcher/court abstractor. Duties included doing current-owner searches, 60-year searches, bring-down reports, lien and judgment searches, document retrievals, civil and criminal background searches, UCC retrievals, etc. In this position, I covered 11 counties in DE and MD and often traveled up to 1,000 miles a week between court houses. This company closed in August of 2005.

08/2001-09/2002: Office Manager, D & K Builders, Inc.

Managed and ran our general contracting company. Along with doing all of the accounting work, scheduling, invoicing, and billing, I also wrote all contracts, proposals and reports, ordered all supplies for jobs, coordinated with subcontractors and helped to organize and line up jobs. During this time I also completed and tested out of the DE Real Estate course and trained at a Re/Max office. It ended up that I did not pursue the real estate career however because of the 24/7 sort of schedule realistically required as my children were very young at the time.

11/2000-08/2001: Corporate Specialist, Incorporating Services, LTD

Here I worked as a corporate specialist filing new companies with the State of DE. I filed new companies as corporations, LLC’s or LLP’s, filed mergers, dissolutions, etc. Most of the companies with which we did business were located in CA, Italy, Australia, Greece and Latvia. Latvia was the predominant company dealt with and as I speak Latvian, I was instrumental in communicating with the Latvian clients. I left this job to manage our general contracting company, D & K Builders, Inc.

02/2000-10/2000: Manager/Co-Owner, Country Corner Restaurant

Co-owned and managed this restaurant with my husband. I did all of the ordering of products, accounts payable, advertising, payroll, hiring and training of all staff, created menus, cooked and introduced new entrees as specials on a daily basis.
