Undergraduate Research Assistant, 01/2017 to 05/2017 University at Buffalo, The State University of New York – Buffalo Collaborated with a Project Team: Efficient ventilation system for a vehicle with the engine at the rear end. Modeled ventilation duct using CAE software (ANSYS). Designed and fabricated scaled down dimensions of the prototype duct.

Verified simulated response with the measured wind velocities at each node of the outlet. Characterized and validated wind flow pattern using MALTAB plots and determined system efficiency. Mechanical Engineering Intern, 07/2016 to 08/2016 StrawTec Building Solutions – Kigali, Rwanda, East Africa Strawtec Building Solutions: Production unit of Compressed Straw Fiber Panels for affordable and sustainable building solutions. 1) Submitted detailed technical narratives and reports on: Step by step procedure used to assemble and dismantle straw panels. Entire production procedure entailing the various machines and equipment used. Integration of Straw Panels with Lightweight Stainless Steel structures. 2) Got familiarized with the company's Protocols and Procedures for Quality Control, Business Development, Design, and Production.

3) Gained working knowledge of different processes, tools, and machines used to produce the Straw Boards. 4) Investigated equipment failures to diagnose faulty operation and made appropriate maintenance recommendations. 5) Studied waste disposal system in detail and recommended improvements in the final presentation. Recyclable Wind Turbine Blade (Fall 2016 and Spring 2017): Designed and validated a recyclable and reparable wind turbine blade with three sections using PTC CREO Parametric software.

Used techniques such as morphological matrix and quality function deployment to filter alternative designs. Developed the design with PLA plastic material using 3-D Printer. The blade was split into three sections to reduce repairing cost and reinforced with Aluminum rod through the central axis. Electrical Car Jack (Fall 2016):

Designed and validated a Car Jack powered with electricity, replacing the need for mechanical work. Used PTC CREO Parametric to model the elements of an Electrical Car Jack. Performed simulation and Finite Element Analysis on each component of the design to record its response under various load strength.

Plotted graphs for maximum stress and deflection for each part using CREO Simulate to attain convergence. Wrote detailed technical reports on the project.

Mechanical Irrigation Pump (Spring 2016):

Worked with CREO Parametric software to replicate design of the irrigation pump. Performed theoretical stress analysis on various parts of the irrigation pump to find out areas of stress concentration. Worked with CREO Simulate to perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on different sections of the pump to find stress distribution.

Proposed improved designs to the existing one to reduce stress concentration and increase the life span of the equipment. Awarded Sports Scholar in High School - Part of Soccer/Volleyball Team. Commendation for Best Delegate - Model United Nations held in High School (2010). Member of dance crew in school (Street Busters) and college (Blitzkrieg).
