Human Resources Manager

Provide HR services for a 400-employee business line, including 2 direct reports.

Employee Relations – Assist management regarding policy interpretation, solution recommendation and suggested course of action. Council, advise and/or review disciplinary actions to ensure consistency. Review and/or write formal disciplinary actions such as Performance Improvement Plans. Handle the dispute resolution process. Risk Management & Compliance – Ensure compliance with federal & state laws and regulations. Partner with Chief Compliance Officer on FDCP compliance and trainings. Develop and maintain records to conform to EEO regulations.

HR Projects & Training – Implement new programs such as Background Investigations, HRIS Conversion and Implementation, New Manager Orientation, etc. Create presentations and facilitate ongoing management training to include Counseling & Corrective Action, Wage & Hour, Appropriate Workplace Behavior, Harassment, etc.

Compensation & Payroll – Oversee and coordinate weekly efforts of business unit payroll, including unemployment claims and employment verification.
