Working with Integrated Systems Group (ISG) to support the Data Management Team with the Department of Transportation as Sr. Database Administrator/Specialist to modernize legacy software systems, and maintenance of databases in the development, test, and production environments in Agile development environment. Responsible for supporting full system development life cycle, including the forward engineering of logical data models, to physical models, and database generation. Database Administration activities include archiving and backup of databases in each environment, performance tuning, support for data migration and systems development, and data integration.

Responsibilities:

Working on overall database architecture, design, installation, configuration, technical support and maintenance of the Oracle 11g and 12c databases.

Responsible for providing application support for Query Optimization, Stored Procedures, Triggers and Indexes for multiple development applications.
