DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervising all sections of blood bank and blood transfusion services )x-match,blood component,serology, Donors,Apheresis and Therapeutic procedures.

Suggested and implemented a series of special and referral test procedures, interpretation of test results, managing inventory & supplies of blood/blood components and many others.

Managed purchasing orders for supplying reagents and any other procurement related activities.

Managed a team of 23 staff members by organizing duty & vacation schedules. Recognized for outstanding communication skills when conducting tutorials/lectures/technical training for medical lab staff/trainee medical laboratory students.

Acting as a quality insurance officer, managed daily and monthly quality control work-up and acted as maintenance officer for equipments; assessing & evaluating staff performance, validating staff training for laboratory tests and cross match in the fully automated "Gel-Station” machine, etc….
