Belimo – Danbury, CT 2006 to 12/30/2016

Belimo Aircontrols serves customers throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Belimo Aircontrols is an integral part of Belimo Holding AG (Belimo.com), a publicly held company headquartered in Hinwil, Switzerland with business units in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Belimo focuses solely on innovative technology in damper actuators and control valves. Since its inception in 1975, the major developments in HVAC actuator technology have come from Belimo. Belimo products help create comfort, safety and efficiency in buildings. Their satisfaction and loyalty have made them a leader in HVAC throughout the world.

Product Manager 2006 to Present

Product Manager for Waterside, includes Butterfly Valve line (22M in 2015), V-Ball and Ball Valve line (3M in 2015) and the Pipe Package line (1M in 2015). This includes full life cycle of products, monthly review of existing products sales and follow up when the sales do not follow forecast.

In year four of a four year project to bring an in house high torque actuator to market. We spent the first three months coming up with an effective way to get the voice of our customer. We came up with CESIM (Comfort – Energy – Safety – Installation – Maintenance) which is a questionnaire based on these key points. The next three months was asking these questions to our key customers and users. With this input, we created a control document that engineering used to create the product lines. Prototypes were made to show key customers to make sure we were still making a product that will be beneficial to our customer and Belimo. This is a global product for the butterfly line; I am the North America lead on this project with two other managers, the European and Asia Pacific Product Manager. With the new features and the quality and reputation of Belimo, we are expecting a majority market share by 2017.

Product Manager for Non-Spring Line of Actuators for Belimo Americas from 2007 - 2010. This includes full life cycle of products, monthly review of existing products sales and follow up when the sales do not follow forecast. Constant interaction with the sales force, solving issues and reviewing technical documents when necessary. Work with other Product Managers with Power Point and MS Project as well as review product returns with the RMA department to see if there are any quality issues.

In 2010, added the responsibility of being the point person for MFT (Multi Functional Technology). In this position, training and updating sales, inside and outside customer service, and tech support was required. To accomplish this, I created a comprehensive MFT book that covered all aspects of MFT.

Created a new product line for Belimo in 2006, Pipe Packages. This new line was a logical addition to the product line with the goal of entering a market Belimo was not in. Sales have steadily increased since the release of the product.

Released quick running actuators in 2008 with a full marketing campaign. This product added to the Belimo family of Non-Spring actuators.

In the process of releasing (April 2010) a NEMA 4 housing for the larger Non-Spring actuators. Will also release (April 2010) Electronic Fail-Safe actuators with unique marketing features not seen in the HVAC field before.

Worked with the Belimo Marketing Department for product flyers for all Non-Spring actuators, Product Guide and Price List (PGPL) layout and pricing as well as updating technical documentation.

Traveled and trained the inside/outside sales force, customer and technical support on all products responsible for.

Haier America – New York City, NY 2004 to 2006

Haier America, a $1 billion company, is the American counterpart of Haier, a leading Chinese manufacture with sales over 13 billion in 2004. Haier produces a wide range of consumer goods including room and Central A/C, mobile phones, TVs, washer and dryers, freezers and refrigerators. Haier America is located on Broadway with warehouses on both coasts and the mid west. Some of Haier’s larger accounts include Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Target, Best Buy and Lowes.

Project Manager 2004 to 2006

Project Manager for Home Comfort Division of Haier America. The product scope includes room and central air conditioners, fans and range hoods. Worked on a new product line of air purifiers that will include high and low end versions.

Travel with the sales force to support them in a technical capacity on products in my control. This support has helped increase the Home Comfort gross sales to 400 million for the sales year 2004. The three year forecast is to have sales for Home Comfort top 1 billion dollars.
