I operated the Police 2 way radio/channel shared with the Miami Dade Police Department. I obtained information from the NCIC and local crime information systems for the officers in the field as requested. I also maintained the 2 way radio that only the Florida City Dispatcher and the Florida City Police Officer uses so we don’t waste time on the Miami Dade Police Department channel. I also worked closely with the neighboring Homestead Police Department, regarding crimes close to our City lines when needed.
