JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:-

Daily site inspection and reporting unsafe act and condition to supervisor or senior management level.

Promote client health, safety environment requirements through awareness and monitor compliance with the said requirements.

Conduct safety orientation for new employees.

Investigate accidents/incidents including near misses and determine probable causes and develop appropriate safety measures to prevent recurrence of similar incidents.

Check suitability and quality of personal protective equipments.

Participating in safety officers walk through at project site (As required by the client).

Monitor and ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained.

Implementation of client safety rules and requirements related to the project site.

Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective / preventive action.

Inspection of working on high elevation, fall protection, scaffolding.

Monthly fire extinguisher inspection.

Conducting safety awareness training and precautionary method for the personal in the carpentry shop, mechanical shop, fabrications yard, construction site, crane, heavy equipment air compressors, heavy plant vehicles, forklift, trucks and other hazardous area.

Taking disciplinary action and enforcement to ensure acceptable compliance.

Conduct weekly Tools-Box meeting.

Experience mandatory safety as per project loss preventions program.

Ensure strict adherence to work permit procedure on work site.

Arrange required signboard.

Close safety monitoring on rigging and erection for electrical equipment.

Emergency response procedure.

Be fully familiar with the project emergency procedure and ensure that the same is fully conveyed to site employees.

Initiate response in event of an emergency situation.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:-

Diploma in industrial Safety Management from Abroad Technical Institute Jamshedpur.

IOSH and 55 Certificated from Green World Group UK.
