Job description

Working in a clean room environment manufacturing inkjet print head and maintain the PWAX Dept machines.

Experienced in different types of machine especially in Ixmation Equipments such as CA, Die bonder (most critical tool with four Scara robots and temp at 350ᵒC), BSE & TSE (Encapsulation tools) .

Additional experience in DWFritz machines such as Phase2 (Die Bonding temp 145ᵒC), PSB machines 8x (Die Bonding), Longhill (Laminator), DWFritz Laser (singulator), DWFritz Xpress(Laminator) and PSB IZscan (inspection tool).

The main objective of this project is to Improve the efficiency of the machine by decreasing the number of variables (elimination of stretcher and punch up) which are involved during production thus PPM have been increased . Moreover, Accuracy is achieved by adding DWcamera and Keyence laser sensor LK series to check the planarity of the frame and DCA (die) in um.

2 -Innovative project on Top side Encapsulation (TSE) (Hewlett packard)

Description :

TSE machine is basically to dispense(4mm length & 2mm width) adhesive on DCA (die thickness 720um) and inspection will be done using camera with led ring light and Keyence laser sensor and camera to check the length, width, height of adhesive smeared on DCA.

The past condition in the TSE machine was pallet (with six parts) will be moving but suggested condition is pallet will be fixed and robot will be moving to consecutive part to dispense.

Modification done : Introduced additional locking pin with cylinders, camera moving on sliders, rewrite the RC+5.0 program used to control Epson robot to change X, Y Home coordinates, starting point and pitch coordinates. Achievement : Reduced cycle time, PPM increased and accuracy.
