Selected as CFO after acquisition of Ampco to consolidate finance and accounting departments of the merging companies while bringing timelier reporting of company performance as a whole and various product lines while still operating in two separate software systems.
Implemented an annual budget which provided the needed trends, variances, and key indicators needed to make proactive decisions by executive management.
Implemented inventory controls that led to quarterly physicals, monthly cycle counts, creation of bin locations, improved purchase order requirements, mandatory material receipts protocol and cut offs, which resulted in optimizing target inventory quantities needed to meet operational goals.
Improved banking relations with banks by providing financials, covenants, and borrowing base reporting on time as required by line of credit guidelines. Managed planning of banking field examinations and year end CPA review or audit.
Negotiated commercial package insurance and health insurance policy for the company while in the midst of various warehouse closings and centralizations in order to provide the needed coverage and savings required.

Ampco Products, LLC – Miami, FL Chief Financial Officer (Jan 2009 – Dec 2015)
Resuscitated company out of brinks of bankruptcy in 2009 in the midst of a recession by streamlining cost, centralizing operations, closing non-performing business divisions.
Collaborated with company software programmer in the formulation of new perpetual inventory general ledger posting process that led to more accurate monthly financials by reducing the monthly inventory variances that previously where only reconciled at quarter end where physical inventory was taken.
Restructured credit policy and collection protocol that led to 20% improvement in collections and reduction of write offs.
Coordinated analysis that led to closure of Morristown, TN facility in 2012 and centralization of its manufacturing operations to existing facility in Miami, FL. Both territories were encroaching on each other sales and overall reduced overhead led to better financial performance for the company.
