Role/Responsibility: summer co-op (Financial service representative)

Duties included Opening/closing accounts including Checking, Savings, Certificates of Deposit; ordered bank supplies, ATM/debit cards; processed wire transfers, Cashier's Checks. Provided navigational assistance with online and mobile banking. Maintained customer confidentiality, privacy and security. Responded to customer inquiries, provided information on bank accounts, policies, products, and services. Cross-sell bank products and services based on customer needs, in accordance with the bank's program standards

Role/responsibility: Peer Mentor

Supported international students by introducing them to various social and academic groups on campus, to enable seamless transition. Communicated with peers by informing them about various student services including the Career Centre, health and transportation services, to increase familiarity and awareness. Assisted them with achieving a positive student experience by encouraging, advising and assisting on a bi-weekly basis. Role/responsibility: Head Residence Porter

Lead and supervised a team of 10 people. Created schedules, submitted timesheets and dealt with situations before it turned into a conflict within the team. Other responsibilities, included, signing guests into residences and preventing unauthorized guests from getting into the building.
