I have been working with Tata Consultancy Services for past 9 years. Prior to this, I was an associated with FirstApex for 2.6 years, working as an Assistant Consultant for Tata Consultancy Services.

My current role is working as a Business Intelligence & Data Analyst using SAS with Hadoop Ecosystem on HSBC - Chicago US for 10 Months, Prior to this I was working as a for Data Analyst / Technical Lead and Cognos Developer at Morgan Stanley for 4 years Prior to this I was worked in Power Finance Corporation (Great west Insurance) and prior to this worked on GE Healthcare Project as Module Lead and Cognos Developer for 3.5 years.

I have a total 11 years of work experience of out which the around 9 years have been in Cognos Suite, Teradata, SAS and Data Analyst. My main area of experience has been Data Analyst and Solution Architect for Business Intelligence project. Description

Data and Information Management (DIM) Project we store the data and reporting metrics on below areas for Global Product Management team.

•Retail Banking, Net New Money, Customer Walk for Retail Bank and Wealth Management Business area.

•Retail Bank Dashboard – Cards, Loans, Mortgages, Deposit and Liability

We process data from across 15 markets and consolidate the data to support Global Analytics product management team for their day to day analytics and statistics using the SAS VA, EG and Hadoop Ecosystem Hive, HDFS ; Migrating existing Cognos and TM1 reports to VA.

Bringing the data from each country data warehousing or golden sources system to Global data lake which is in Hadoop cluster, via Hive we access the data and process it in SAS EG and build the dashboard in SAS VA. Enhanced the security with each country analytics team can access to their own market data.

•Orders, Executions, and Allocation of Stock Trading on Trade Volume and CnC ( Cancel and Correction ) for 17 Asset Classes

•Fails, Settlements, Confirmation, Rejections and Collaterals metrics

•Market access rules and trend analysis of user trading

We process data from more than 30 Sources and consolidated the data to support Post Trading Operation team for their day to day analysis and reporting using Cognos reports and Qlik View dashboards and TM1 Cubes.

We generate the Cognos Report and Dashboard to support day to day activity for Operation team about Trade Volume, Cancel and Correct, Fails, Settlement Metrics for different Asset Classes for T+1 dates.

Migration of Cognos 7.3 to Cognos 10

Description

This Migration project was aimed for migrating Cognos 7.3 Impromptu Catalogs, Reports, Powerplay Cubes and Reports to Cognos 10 with the help of Migration tools which supported by IBM.

As part of this project, we understand the Cognos Impromptu 7.3 existing reports and provided the design and develop the code in Cognos 10 or migrate the same object from 7.3 and test the code and ensure its successful deployment in Dev, testing environment(env) and Production.

Migrated 10 Impromptu Catalogs, 120 reports and 11 cubes to Cognos 10 env. I have managed a team of 6 people, responsible for understanding all the existing reports and running the migration utilities and implementation logics of modules in scope. This involves ensuring successful report migration. Handling all related migration issues and creating a new environment is a major activity.

BI ODS ( Operational Data Source )

Description

The ODS-RTS team was framed with the aim of providing technical support for the existing ODS code and also to be involved in any enhancements required for the same.

Certain enhancements on the existing code were made to incorporate new requirements on the present modules and code manipulations for performance improvements as well.

As part of enhancements, we understand the new requirements, design and develop the strategies to implement them, test the code and ensure its successful deployment in Dev, QA And Production environments.

As part of the support managed a team of 6, responsible for understanding all the business and implementation logics of modules in scope. This involves ensuring successful data loads for about 100 tables and immediate correction of data load errors if any. Handling all related data issues and maintenance of the environment is a major activity in scope.

As part of the support we have supported OEC and SIT application as well, it’s providing the data to Surgery Systems and Sales team to have Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) as the single access point to the entire GE Health Care.

The Objective of the project is to make Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) as the single access point to the entire GE Health Care. The Legal Compliance Dashboard (LCD) for GEHC is spread across the entire world involving many countries in the US, Europe, and Asia regions.

LCD Project is made up of LCD cube Metrics, Summary Reports, and eScorecard.

LCD is a System provides the legal and compliance GE Healthcare team’s visibility via a dashboard to a set of legal compliance metrics that are relevant to meet GEHC and Corporate Requirements.

The eScorecard tool will enable the legal and compliance teams to keep a track of all the compliance Metrics of their Direct Reports and their Direct Reports in terms of Compliance Training Completed, pending and Incomplete and also Send the email reminder to them.

The sources for the system were Oracle (APPs), Teradata and Flat files. Informatica used as ETL tool to extract the data from source systems using Change Data capture logic. Cognos Tool is used for Reporting.

LCD is a System which gives a weekly update on Ombuds, Investigation, COC, COI, Guide, CRB, My learning and ScheduleII metrics and

Daily update on eScorecard which contains My learning training details like L1, L2,CLT,COI and S&L Ack.

HR project is made up of HeadCount and HR Dashboard.

HeadCount is a System which helps users to find out the weekly snapshot of the employees working for the GEHC and the Variance count between consecutive weeks in the organization.

The sources for the system are Oracle (APPs), Teradata and Flat files. Informatica used as ETL tool to extract the data from source systems using Change Data capture logic. Cognos Tool is used for Reporting.

HR Dashboard is a System which gives a weekly holistic view (Dashboard) for the HR Applications via Diversity, OHR Data Quality, Attrition, Global Mobility, and Staffing.
