Studied the effect of rapid glacier warming, perennial sea depletion, shortened ice season, and regional warming on the food webs and ecosystems along the West Antarctic Peninsula.

Assisted in the analysis of water samples using a High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) machine to identify and analyze the presence of phytoplankton and algae in water samples from the Antarctic Sea.

Created penguin foraging location maps using Matlab and Excel. Included density hotspots to indicate differences in concentrations of foraging points in different areas.

Assisted with water sample collection and study from Antarctic waters while aboard a 6-week scientific expedition cruise that travelled along the West Antarctic Peninsula.

Utilized western blotting and gel electrophoresis to determine the response of insulin-like growth factors on carcinoma and normal cells to different toxins and antibiotics.

Created a circuit that amplifies lower frequency sound waves by double to make them more audible for the detection of atherosclerosis at earlier stages.

Achieved double amplification frequencies from plaque/heart/blood flow and was able to detect frequencies lower than 10 Hz.
