With years of experience in management and consulting, I have built diverse skills and demonstrated the desire for excellence that can improve the affordable housing crisis. Some of the skills and experiences I look forward to bringing the following: The first six months as a project manager for the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, I led a team of 10 with the restructuring of the Section 8 rent determination process. With the help of my team, I implemented a new system build out. May 2016, we launched the pilot phase of the new system which has increased productive, improved budget analysis, reduced bottlenecks and guard against fraudulent activity. The previous system processed a rent increase in 6 months. Today, in our pilot we are processing rent increases in 1 month.

-Building Skills:

My years of experience as a real estate salesperson and project manager has taught me key underwriting functions. One of many key ingredients to successfully closing both commercial and home mortgages is to understand the buyer’s wants and needs. By building a firm relationship with my clients, I’m able to provide an in depth market analysis of comparable properties and a sound investment structure. For clients that seek fixer upper investments, a budget analysis helps me develop an investment strategy. As a federal operations consultant at Deloitte, I leveraged my investment analysis competencies by assessing one of the firm’s largest portfolios, (a 3 billion dollar acquisition). I also developed recommendations around whether the firm should divest the investment. By collaborating with multi-level stakeholders, I extracted and analyzed key data, developed insights, and made recommendations that were implemented in fiscal year 2015.
