Responsibilities :-

Conduct site safety inspection in order to observe unsafe action and unsafe condition and suggest remedial measures.

Monitor procedure followed at site as per HSE plan and reporting project head and Department head any deviations.

Implementation and Monitoring of work permit system in construction and operation phase.

Conduct safety walk along with concern head of department and project head.

Conduct safety award distribution to contractor workman.

Ensure adequate and timely procurement of PPE as per standards.

Ensure compliance with statutory provision and necessary documentation.

Contribute to implement company safety policy at project and Operation phase.

Attend to internal and external audits.

Investigate the accident to find out root cause and suggest remedial measures to avoid reoccurrence.

Ensure compliance with statutory rules and regulation related to HSE.

Participate in safety committee meeting.

Contribute to celebrate national safety Day and Week.

Conduct various training program to work man, staff to in hence their competency and capabilities of achieving safety target and goal.

Display safety posters and sign board to generate safety awareness.

Promote safety suggestion scheme to motivate employees for coming with ideas on safety.

To carry out mock drill and or other checks for preparedness during emergency.

Conduct Tool Box Talk meeting at site.

Safety induction training to new workers and new staff.

Investigation of near miss, unsafe action and unsafe condition and implement rectification and making report.

Carried safety inspection of lift, hoist, power machine and mechanical material handling equipment, portable power tools etc.

Supervising the regular inspection and testing of all fire fighting safety and emergency response equipment including fixed and portable extinguishing system.
