Led a team of 20 people in planning, development and implementation of applications upgrades to DB2 Connect gateway access resulting in a $100,000 savings. Conversion implemented seamlessly to the firm’s business units.

Analyzed vendor systems, products with a focus on cost reduction which led to replacement of legacy Systems PRF (Platinum Report Facility) resulting in $80,000 savings, SYSBII with $570,000 of savings and Omegamon achieving $590,000 of savings.

Managed IBM’s “AFP” advanced formatted printing project across the entire firm, which involved introduction of new printing solutions to replace the purchase of printed customer’s forms. Utilized IBM 3800 laser printers.

IBM’s programming software products and tools to produce the pre-printed statements resulting in a $2,000,000 savings.

Led the Performance CPU and cost savings initiative project. Managed a project to improve performance and cut the mainframe engine usage during the firm’s month end data consolidation. Process which reduced the monthly Hardware cost significantly. This project required the involvement of resources from both the Chief Development Officer (CDO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO) organizations, reported directly to senior management resulting in savings of $1,296,000.
